Sports Interactive’s & SEGA’s Football Manager (FM) series is by far the most popular and advanced sports management and simulation game. It comes as no surprise that within a day of its launch it topped the Steam charts and has had one of the most concurrent players on the platform. Our previous article on FM21 had a good reach and response, so we decided to follow-up with FM 22 mods as well this time.
In this post I’ll be covering a range of add-ons, mods and downloads that I’ve personally used for FM 2022 PC edition. Some of the are small, some are more involved, but they are all made by members of the FM community.
FM 2022 Real Names Fix
Due to licensing issues, FM 2022 contains fake names for a number of competitions, clubs and awards. With this add-on, you can fix that and enjoy FM 22 with real names. This is the most essential add-on among all the existing FM 22 mods.

FM22 Real Names Corrected
- All playable clubs names from all continents
- All major leagues names
- All non-playable Europe Top Leagues club names
- Almost all minor leagues names
- All Continental, National and National Cups names
- Continental awards
- Some stadium names
This mod is an exclusive FMScout mod, so to download and install it, you need to visit their website. Make sure to follow the installation instructions carefully.
FM 2022 Standard Logo Pack

There are several logo packs available, but the one that I highly recommend is latest TCM 22 Logos Megapack. It has more than 67,000 logos of clubs and competitions for FM 2022. It has been downloaded over 2 million times by countless users.
How to Install the TCM 22 Logos Megapack?
Once you’ve downloaded it you’ll be presented with a “.zip” file. Extract this file to the following location “Documents » Sports Interactive » Football Manager » Graphics”.
If the “Graphics” folder doesn’t exist you can simply create it.
Once you’ve done this, load up Football Manager and go to “Preferences” and then “Interface”. Make sure you have the following two boxes ticket:
- Use caching to decrease page loading times
- Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences
Now click “Clear Cache”
You’ll be taken out of the preferences, go back into the preferences and in the bottom right there’s a button called “Reload Button”.
There should be a box that pops up saying “loading image data for the new skin”. Once this is done your graphics should be working within the game.
FM 22 Facepack / Cut Outs
Sortitoutsi’s Cut-Out Faces Megapack is the biggest collection of Football Manager Player Faces available. All players are available in the default cut-out style. When you download our Football Manager Facepack, you’ll receive over 330,000 player faces to spice up your copy of Football Manager 2022.
How To Install FM 22 Facepack / Cut Outs?
Just follow the video tutorial below:
You will require a Torrent client in order to download the Facepack (We recommend this method as downloading every file in parts can be a tedious task!).
FM 2022 2D / 3D Kits Megapack
No one likes fake kits, so it’s obvious that having realistic kits enhances the FM 2022 experience with 2D and 3D kits (new). We’ll be using Sortitoutsi in order to download the kits (you need to register on their website in order to download any content from there).

How to Install FM 2022 Kits?
Just follow the video tutorial below in order to download and install the FM 2022 Kits:
FM 2022 Skins
There are plenty of skins available for FM 2022, but the one I’ve tested and loved personally is the OPZ Elite 2022. The supported resolution for the skin is 1920*1080 px.

To install the skin, simply copy the files and paste it into the following system location:
- Windows: C:\Users\\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2022\skins\
- Mac: /Users//Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022/skins/
Then launch FM 2022. Click Preferences, and you’ll see the Skin menu under Interface. Click the drop-down menu, select your downloaded skin, and hit confirm.
This wraps up my top 5 FM 22 mods which are must-have and essentials. You can notice most of these are graphic related mods which means there will be another article soon on FM 2022 which will cover tactics, match cameras, skins and much more in separate articles.
If you have any suggestions do let us know in the comments below. If you have tried any of the mods mentioned above, your feedback will be appreciated.
FM ain’t FM without the mods. Period.
